Game to also be released on PC
Mediascape's "Play, Doujin!" project announced on Tuesday that it will release developer Neeptia's Touhou Project game Gensokyō Defenders for PlayStation 4 in Japan. The game will be available digitally, though no release date has been announced.
Neeptia began streaming a new promotional video on Tuesday.
The tower defense game features nearly 20 playable characters who must use spell cards and traps to protect Gensokyō from invading fairies. The player characters can also attack the enemy directly. The story and stages are fully voiced. The game supports online co-op play.
Neeptia also plans to release the game on Windows PC. The PC edition, unlike the PlayStation 4 version, will have a "2D Version" with 2D graphics instead of 3D graphics.
