Hatsune Miku Project Diva X's New Features Previewed in Promo Video
posted on by Egan Loo
Sega debuted the latest promotional video for its rhythm game Hatsune Miku Project Diva X at the Snow Miku 2016 event. Saki Fujita, the voice actress who lent Hatsune Miku her vocal samples, narrates the new features in the game such as the "Live Quest Mode." The video also previews the opening theme song "Tsumi no Namae" by Ryo (supercell).
The game will feature a "Live Quest Mode," where players can tackle both Area Quests and Event Quests. Area Quests will be located in specific areas, and will allow players to choose their song, while Event Quests will be unlocked as players progress through the game.
In Event Quests, players can conduct "Special Lives" concerts which will allow them to make a set list of three songs, and three characters that will appear in the live. In this mode, players can choose which module costumes they will equip, which makes their character attuned to one of five elements (neutral, cute, cool, beauty, and chaos), and skills. Picking the right module for the live allows players to gain more Voltage to clear the quest more quickly.
Sega previewed some of the module costumes that appear in the game, designed by different illustrators.

A Hatsune Miku Project Diva X Accessory Set will go sale on the same day for 3,480 yen (US$28). Although this set will not include the actual PS Vita game system, it will include an original shoulder pouch bag and an original screen cleaning cloth imprinted with Kei's main visual.
