Tsubasa movie's Kawasaki directs Animax Award-winning screenplay

On November 25, the Japanese television channel Animax will air the latest project from Production I.G, a 25-minute short anime film based on Akari Tsukino's winning script from the 2006 Animax Awards. Yumedamaya: The Strange Tale of the Dreamball Dealer is directed by Itsurō Kawasaki, who recently directed Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE The Movie: Princess of the Birdcage Kingdom and episodes of I.G's Le Chevalier D'Eon and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. Shōko Nakamura designed the characters.

This will be I.G's seventh full-length (television series, OVA, or special) project of 2007. According to the newly-opened profile page for Yumedamaya on the Production I.G English-language website, the plot of this anime involves an eleven-year-old girl who lives with her father and baby brother, and seeks to escape from her everyday life.

Separately, I.G also added to its website an interview with Stand Alone Complex mechanical designer Shinobu Tsuneki and a brief profile and picture of one of the main characters from its Tokyo Marble Chocolate project.
