According to the most recent issue of LOCUS magazine "Princess Mononoke by Hayao Miyazaki and Neil Gaiman" has been nominated for the Nebula award for best script.

The Nebula Awards the science-fictions genre's more academic set of awards which are given out by the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America and voted upon by members of the SFWA (the Hugos are awarded by fan votes and thus are considered more of a popularity contest).

The other scripts nominated were for "South Park: Bigger, Better Uncut," "The Green Mile", "Galaxy Quest," "Being John Malkovich" and "Dogma."

Preliminary balloting ends february 23rd, and is supposed to narrow it down to six finalists in each category, however given that there are only six here to begin with, preliminary balloting will probably be skipped in this category.
