Toy distributor Bluefin has recently announced the three finalists for the 2015 North American GunPla Builders World Cup. Kevin Zhang, Nate He and Michael Wine have each earned finalist status in the NA qualifier round for the contest with their creativity with GunPla artistry, with Zhang moving on to the finals.
Kevin Zhang previously conquered the New York qualifying round and has been chosen to represent the North American region in the GunPla Builders World Cup Finale in Japan starting in December; his victory has earned him a free round trip to Japan for the contest and will compete against other Gundam model builders from around the world. His submission (pictured above) was an original GunPla creation known as "Dash's Legendary Mobile Suit UNOM Test Type 001- Mixcoalt."
First runner-up Nate He from Canada won with his submission of a customized "MG Jesta HAVOC."
Competitor Michael Wine earned second runner-up with a GunPla diorama entitled "Officer Down."
