This movie has always sounded incredibly ridiculous. I wouldn't have been surprised if Ciel was played by a girl, but I never thought it would be part of the storyline. Did Yana Toboso actually approve it?

The premise is actually quite neat, the execution on the other hand...

I guess it sounds alright, but it sounds like they trying to make it more "Japanese". It's suppose to have a traditional English setting.

I haven't heard of any Kuroshitsuji fans who have watched it. It doesn't exist to us.

What's with Australia always obtaining these live-action movies? Sad Kenshin... Phoenix Wright... now Black Butler...

Has there been any official answer as to where the western market hasn't seen them licensed yet?

Performances of both main leads are commendable (although the idea of non-British Phantomhive & Sebastian always sounds off to me).
Unfortunately, as a detective fiction, it's quite predictable. Action scenes are so-so at best... especially if you've just watched The Raid. Confused

The rests are, weellll... No comment. Thumper's rule. Wink

How was the film's box office performance in its own home? Did it sell well?
