Even though the art is not final... OMG IT LOOKS SO GORGEOUS. The tears, how they flow. Provided this date stays the same, I'll be receiving this right before I head to Japan. |

Yay, date for Rose 2!
As for Kimba...that's a pretty sexy price, and I'm a hopeless Tezuka addict (and the manga isn't released/licensed in English yet), I may be getting this. Although no price would probably convince me to get the original Astro Boy, I just don't think it's that good. I already have Tylor, but others should totally get this! |

What's the difference between this Kimba release, and the original one, besides the telescoping artbox?

A date, and not a very-far-off-one, for the second half of Rose of Versailles! How lovely! And it might prove especially timely for me. Those boxes look very nice.
Curious that the bells-n-whistles are attached to the second set rather than the first, but not matter. I wonder when the interview with Osamu Dezaki was recorded and for what. I assume that it was for a Japanese production some years back as he died last year. I've been hanging on the edge of anticipation to see what comes after the splendor at the top of the stairs that ended episode one since October. Strange to think that I won't wait much longer for satisfaction. |

I have a couple of questions concerning Tylor, if anyone could help. Is Rightstuf's original release chipboard? And I know I should know this, but what exactly is a litebox?

What, this one? Yeah, it's a chipboard with 5 thinpack cases in it. The OVA has 4.
A litebox is what the SAVE titles and stuff come in, it's one standard DVD case thick with all the discs in it. Usually partially overlapping (though the When They Cry one had 6 not-overlapping, it had leaflets inside). |

Yes, that's the one.
Thanks for the help and explanation. Trying to decide if I should go for the chipboard or just get the litebox. |

Oh wow an art book with the Rose of Versailles set, looking forward to that.
Whether it is an older or newer interview I am sure it will be interesting. When I pre-ordered the Rose of Versailles set my order said it also came with a promo for each set (not sure if it is the artwork or something else). I can't wait till I get the first set in May. |
