Capcom Ships 20 Million Copies of Monster Hunter: World Game Worldwide

CAPCOM revealed on Tuesday that has shipped 20 million copies worldwide of its Monster Hunter: World game including the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Master Edition release. The company also announced that its Monster Hunter Rise game has sold a cumulative 7.5 million units for Nintendo Switch as of September 24.
Monster Hunter: World launched worldwide on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in January 2018. The game became CAPCOM's best-selling game ever in January 2020 when it had 15 million copies in circulation (both physical and digital).
The Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion launched for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in September 2019, and debuted for PC via Steam in January 2020. The overall game launched its "final" free update in October 2020.
The Monster Hunter Rise game launched for the Switch on March 26. The game will launch for PC on January 23. A demo launched for the PC version on Thursday.
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will debut for the Switch and PC via Steam in summer 2022. The expansion will have an all-new story, with new locations to visit, as well as new gameplay mechanics.
