Nobunaga no Shinobi Anime Promo Video Streamed

The official YouTube channel for the television anime of Naoki Shigeno's Nobunaga no Shinobi four-panel manga began streaming a 30-second promotional video on Thursday. (Note: the YouTube video linked is region-locked in the United States, Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand.)
The anime will premiere on Tokyo MX on October 4 at 9:55 p.m., and will also begin airing on TV Aichi on October 8 at 3:20 a.m.
The cast includes:

- Chiaki Takahashi as Kichō
- Suzuko Mimori as Oichi

The anime's "Episode 0" screened at the AnimeJapan 2016 event in March and then streamed online in April.
Akitarō Daichi (Nurse Angel Ririka SOS, Sexy Commando Gaiden: Sugoi yo!! Masaru-san, Kamisama Kiss) is directing the anime at TMS Entertainment, and Junko Yamanaka (Detective Conan, Kamisama Kiss, ReLIFE) is designing the characters for animation.
The gag manga centers on a young female ninja named Chidori, whose dream is to help the Warring States-era warlord Oda Nobunaga to achieve his goals. Shigeno launched the manga in Young Animal in 2008, and Hakusensha published the manga's ninth compiled volume in July 2015, with the tenth volume slated for September 29. Hakusensha published the second volume of Shigeno's Nobunaga no Shinobi - Owari no Tōitsu-ki (Nobunaga's Shinobi - Chronicle of Owari's Unification) manga on February 29.
