Square Enix announced on Monday that it has opened preregistration for a western release of the iOS and Android game Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius. The app is slated to launch this summer, and will be available in six languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, and Korean.
Players who preregister can receive exclusive in-game items. The number of items received will depend on the number of registrants.
Square Enix will reveal more information at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) this June.
Gumi subsidiary A-Lim developed Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius, and it draws inspiration from A-Lim's previous Brave Frontier smartphone game. The game features art by Yoshitaka Amano. Players from five-man parties composed of characters from the Final Fantasy franchise, tackle dungeons, with the ultimate goal of defeating bosses, gaining experience, and earning money. Square Enix released the game in Japan last October.
