Voice Actress Chiharu Kitaoka Announces Marriage, Plans Move to Hokkaido

Voice actress Chiharu Kitaoka announced on her blog on Sunday that she has gotten married.
In her message, Kitaoka stated that she married someone she had been dating. She also said that her husband is someone who was there for her during her hospitalization. She wrote in the post that from now on, she will not take anymore voice roles except for continuing ones (ones she had been doing up until now). She further noted that that she will move to Hokkaido, and expressed relief that she will be able to perform in plays there. Kitaoka concluded the message by saying that although she and her husband fight a lot, she'd like to make a warm family where they can always say anything to each other.
Under the name Aya Gōda, Kitaoka has voiced roles in such anime as Kiddy Girl-AND (Q-feuille), Is This a Zombie? (Salas), Toei Robot Girls (Danguard Ace), R-15 (Taketo Akutagawa), Recorder and Randsell (Takumi), and Upotte!! (Ichihachi). Under her actual name, she has voiced roles in such anime as Robot Girls Z (Dandan), Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky (Threia Hazelgrimm), and The Testament of Sister New Devil (Takashi Hayase). She has also performed theme songs for Kiddy Girl-AND, Is This a Zombie?, R-15, Maken-Ki! Battling Venus, and Is This a Zombie? of the Dead.
