Khara, Dwango's Animator Expo Season 2 Promo Streamed

The website for Studio Khara and Dwango's Animator Expo project began streaming a promotional video for the second season of Animator Expo on Thursday. The video previews scenes from the weekly anime shorts that will be shown in the second season.
The video reveals some of the creators involved in the second season, including:

Neon Genesis Evangelion director Hideaki Anno directed the promotional video.
The first anime short of the second season is titled "Kanón," and Mahiro Maeda is directing it. Hibiki Yoshizaki serves as technical director and Tatsuya Kushida (Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo) serves as art director. The Animator Expo website will stream "Kanón" this March.

- A music video titled "ME!ME!ME!" featuring the musician Teddyloid (Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt) and rapper daoko

- Takeshi Honda and Mahiro Maeda's "20min Walk From Nishi-Ogikubo Station, 2 Bedrooms, Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, 2mos Deposit, No Pets Allowed"

Anno himself is serving as executive producer of the entire project initiative with Dwango President Nobuo Kawakami, and he also designed the image character mascot "(Tor)-kun." Ghibli co-founder Hayao Miyazaki created the title logo, and fellow Ghibli co-founder Toshio Suzuki colored it. The shorts mostly feature the voice talent of Ranma ½ and Cowboy Bebop co-stars Kouichi Yamadera and Megumi Hayashibara .
