I think many of us would like to see this type of collaboration in McDonald's here in the West as well, I'm an adult but I'd order a Happy Meal just for a S×F coloring book Laughing
On the other hand, what's the main demographic for S×F? Didn't S×F air at midnight in Japan? I know it's a shonen series, and after having seen it last year I didn't find anything particularly inappropriate, save for the fact that Yor is an assassin, though even then there's nothing really graphic in the anime. I think this is one of those cases when I've to be reminded that Japan has different standards of what's appropriate for children, and to be honest I've seen plenty of bootleg S×F merchandise for children here where I live
I guess this is not so different than when there are Happy Meal toys for PG-13 movies, though not as bad as that time when Batman Returns got Happy Meal toys.

Well, while it was a midnight anime because of circumstances - TV Tokyo reran it later in the prime evening time, so the demographic is nothing different from your usual family shonen shows.

Anya is a very popular character with kids (as is Bond) so this tracks.

Those coloring book pages look delightful. I would totally love to color one of them.

Okay there's no way Anya likes McDonalds more than Five Guys. Five Guys gives you free unlimited peanuts!

Clearly non-canon advertising campaign. Finally, a worthy cause for a boycott.
